The perception of the parents decides whether the child will gain weight in the future

Do you see your child as ‘overweight’? May be that is the reason for his/her gaining more weight over the period of time.

A study says that children whose parents considered them to be ‘overweight,’ tended to gain more weight over the following decade, compared with children, whose parents thought they were a ‘normal’ weight. This has been deduced from an analysis of data from two nationally representative studies, published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.
