Warts aren´t dangerous, they represent an annoying alteration in the skin caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). Warts are often harmless, but their apparition results very unpleasant and unsightly for those who suffer from them.
This problem usually occurs in body zones such as breasts, armpits, neck, eyelids, hands and feet. They are rarely painful, but what all of them have in common is they are highly contagious; a simple skin-to-skin contact can cause the virus transfer.
In general, one treatment is enough, unless there is a great number of them, or they take up a wider skin area. In this case, the treatment should be repeated.
