Rosemary has several benefits both in and out of the kitchen. It has been associated with memory for many years by being used at war commemorations, weddings and funerals, where it was used to symbolise remembrance.

Research has bought to light it’s aromatherapy characteristics as sniffing the herb’s essential oils improve memory by over 75%, secondary memory and overall mental performance. Recent studies throughout Europe helped conclude several benefits of Rosemary, some of them being; improving cognitive performance and alertness. This evergreen herb is easy to store, just cut a bunch from a Rosemary bush, leave them to dry at a warm place and store the dried leaves in a jar.
