If you experience pain in your shoulders it may indicate heart issues.

There was a research that included information out of 1,226 experts. They showed that the greater the factors which cause heart issues found in workers, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol level and diabetes, the higher the rates of shoulder issues. The participants with highest risk factors were in the group with 2-6 greater chances for pain in their shoulders compared to those who did not have those factors. Moreover, the chances for tendinopathy of the rotator cuff were 6 times greater. The participants in this research with middle levels of different factors had less issues with their shoulders.

Hegman added, great force can worsen the issues with the rotator cuff shoulders, but it is not the primary cause. Different factors of cardiovascular diseases can be more important than the factors on workplace. Control of blood pressure and different risk factors of heart disease can lower the pain in shoulders.
